Artist Judith Jewer has twenty years of art teaching experience.  Following the step-by-step format that is Judith's signature teaching style,  Judith's personal daily art practice includes drawing, sketching and painting. She enjoys drawing happy laughing babies with coloured pencils every day. In the past Judith has spent a lot of time drawing animals at the Zoo and even managed to befriend an Orangutan Grandmother named Puppee. Judith also has a passion for acrylic painting. When the weather is nice, you can find her landscape painting on expeditions that explore many parts of Pickering, and all over Ontario.
My art is inspired by a passion for the meditative qualities of the process, and exploring how art making affects consciousness. Appreciation for the value of the most simple actions of drawing and painting heightens self awareness. With humble gratitude, choosing to see beauty in the mundane, happiness becomes the path to transformation.
